LC/EC50 Calculator is a modern dose-response analysis tool developed within and for the needs of the HRZZ scientific project FUNECOSoil (IP-2022-10-3233) at the Department of Quantitative Ecology, Department of Biology, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, in collaboration with SCIOM d.o.o. The Hungarian version was created for the needs and within the framework of the bilateral project Croatia/Hungary: "Investigating the impact of microplastics on soil living organisms through ecotoxicological testing".

Scientific Basis and Technology

The application is built to ensure speed, stability and security. All calculations occur locally on your computer — no data is sent to the cloud or network.

Estimation Methods

Probit and logit regression, Spearman–Kärber, nonlinear models with confidence intervals and GUTS for time-dependent toxicity.

Standards and Compliance

Supports work in accordance with OECD guidelines and EU regulations; reports include key indicators (LC/EC₁₀, LC/EC₂₀, LC/EC₅₀, IC, AIC/BIC, residual diagnostics).

Reproducibility

Export complete reports to PDF/CSV, with deterministic parameters, recorded methods and metadata — ensuring your results are reproducible and reviewable.
